Is amber safe for humans?

YES! We are on our own collars using raw Baltic amber, our pet collars are safe for humans and animals, with no secondary effects on you or your pet, family, or home. Can be used for all pets, even if they are young, allergic, pregnant, or nursing.

How do I take care of the necklace?

Amber beads get oily by constant friction to fur thus it is recommended to wash the necklace weekly with warm water and soap. The need to wash the necklace may vary from the length and amount of pet’s fur.

How long does the necklace stay effective?

Amber necklace stays effective for up to a year or two. Replace it when beads get polished to maintain the best tick and flea repelling effect.

How do amber tick and flea necklaces work?

Static electricity generated when amber rubs against the pet’s fur makes parasites uncomfortable and unable to cling to hairs. The necklace works at its full effectiveness after three weeks of wearing. Please note that amber repels ticks and fleas but will not treat existing infestation, so you must exterminate flea or tick infestation with other remedies before using amber collar.

Are AmberZoo collars also suitable for cats?

Yes, collars with amber are perfect for cats as well. Amber also reveals its good properties on cat fur, thus protecting them from ticks and fleas.

We currently ship to the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia and Europe country’s. 

What if I ordered wrong size?

Sorry, but you will have to pay return costs if you want to exchange size. To avoid this hassle, please make sure to measure your pet  according to the instructions provided in size chart page before placing an order.

How do I return an item?

What if my package is delayed during the shipping?

Sometimes packages are shipped promptly, but experience carrier delays. We use the US Postal Service to ship the vast majority of our packages and right now they are experiencing widespread delays due to a historic volume of ecommerce packages, combined with labor shortages due to COVID. While we have tried to provide a buffer for any USPS delays with our shipping deadlines, occasionally packages are delayed outside of our control. For packages that appear lost in transit, our policy is that if a package has not been delivered or shown movement within 10 days of the last USPS scan activity, we will issue a replacement or store credit. We have found that almost all delayed packages are delivered or show movement within that time frame.
